I need to clear my head, so I'm clearing my hard drive. There's going to be a whole bunch of these today, sorry.

Heechul was freezing them out. He was sick and tired of them being off in China doing Chinese things in a Chinese language without him and it didn't matter if it wasn't their fault or if in the back of his mind he knew he was supposed to be really happy for them or whatever. Nope, once Heechul set his mind on something, that was it. He was freezing them out, and there was nothing they could do about it (teach them to be in a different country, hah!).
He began with a bit of subtlety, which, granted, he wasn't exactly good at, but at least he managed not to yell 'I'M IGNORING YOU. THIS IS ME IGNORING YOU. NOTICE IT, YOU BASTARDS.' when no one noticed that he was freezing them out.
"Why are you so quiet?" Hankyung asked after half an hour spent detailing how he was having such a great time being as far away from Heechul as he could possibly get, or whatever (freezing people out means you don't have to listen to them talk about their feelings).
"I'm busy," Heechul said, not busy at all.
"Busy doing what?"
"Stuff. Put Donghae on the phone."
"Why?"
"I want to talk to him."
"But you said you were busy."
"Not too busy for him."
"Okay, but Zhoumi just let Donghae watch CJ7, so... Hello? Hello?"
"What's wrong?" Siwon asked, looking up from his well-worn Chinese dictionary.
"Bad connection, I guess." Hankyung sighed and set his phone down on the table, wandering over to Siwon's bed and resting his head on Siwon's back. "Do you think I should try calling him again?"
"He said he was busy, right? Call him tomorrow. You know what Heechul-hyung is like when you interrupt him in the middle of something."
"You're probably right," Hankyung sighed.
Heechul decided he didn't have the patience for subtlety - it involved letting a lot of opportunities for mockery go to waste, and Heechul just wasn't a wasteful person like that. So, he upped his game.
"Hyung," Eunhyuk waved Heechul over. "It's Siwon, he wants to talk to you."
"Tell him I'm not home."
"Er... He's on video conference." Eunhyuk waved his phone in front of Heechul, and Heechul could see Siwon in the tiny screen, waving excitedly.
"Hi hyung!"
"Wait." Heechul went to his room.
"What's he doing?" Siwon asked Eunhyuk.
"I don't know. Hey is Donghae there? I know he stole my Epik High CD and I want it back."
"It's not stealing if I give it back eventually!" Donghae yelled from the other end.
"Give it back NOW, Hae, NOW. NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW."
"Hyuk, he can't hear you, he's gone outside," Siwon said, grimmacing.
"Steal it back for me," Eunhyuk said.
"Two wrongs don't make a right."
"I'll send you pictures of Heechul-hyung topless."
"Is EMS okay or do you want to me use FedEx?"
Their bartering over, Siwon peered at the screen, trying to see past Eunhyuk into the apartment. "Where is Heechul-hyung?"
He could see Eunhyuk turn around, looking behind him. "Oh, he's stuck a note to his door. Huh."
"What?"
"It says 'I'm not home'."
"What?"
"I don't know. How soon can you get to the post office?"
It still wasn't working. Heechul glared at Hankyung's things as if they were to blame for their owner's prolonged absence. He was sick of looking at them. Why did they have to be here in his apartment anyway? Without anyone using them they were all just so much useless clutter.
"Oh Gege, you have a package," Henry said.
"It's a really, really big package," Ryeowook added excitedly. "From Korea!"
Hankyung's heart skipped a beat upon seeing the size of the box and Heechul's untidy scrawl on the documentation. Irrationally, he let himself believe for a second that the reason why Heechul hadn't called or emailed lately was because he had finally found a way to mail himself to China. He tore open the box.
"It's my stuff," he said, rifling through the things in the box with some confusion.
"That's so sweet, he sent you your things so you wouldn't miss them," Zhoumi said, picking up a stick of lip balm from the box.
"No, it's all my stuff. My bedsheets? Why would he send me all this?" Hankyung fished out a 2005 calendar he'd been keeping for that one date he had circled on it. "And some of this is stuff I gave him."
Kyuhyun chuckled. "You know, it kind of looks like he's kicked you out of the house."
They laughed. And then they stopped laughing. Hankyung fixed Siwon with a panicked stare.
"I'll go see how soon we can go back to Korea," Siwon said, quickly leaving to find their manager.
Heechul laid back on his headboard with a sigh of contentment and counted the number of limbs on his bed. Eleven. That couldn't be right. Oh, no, there was Hankyung's right arm under Siwon's thigh. Siwon cocked an eyebrow at him and he quickly rearranged his features.
"Don't think you're getting off the hook so lightly. A keychain from duty free? So many months in China and that's the best souvenier you could get me?" Heechul started nudging Hankyung with his foot, trying to roll him off of his bed.
"We were kinda in a hurry," Hankyung said, grabbing his ankle and planting a soft kiss on it. "Stop kicking, I'm really comfortable."
"Ah, hyung." Siwon grabbed his other ankle when Heechul began kicking him instead. "We're sorry, okay? We'll make up for it."
"Didn't we just make up for it?" Hankyung asked, turning over.
"Make up for it again," Heechul demanded. Hankyung glanced at Siwon, who shrugged.
"You heard the man."
Heechul purred as Siwon began to run his hands up his inner thigh, and Hankyung slid up beside him, placing soft kisses on his jaw.
All was right with the world.
