The PS3 has blown me away...The Killzone 2 video was so jaw dropping..I've been convinced to buy one..I was going to wait a bit, till it had dropped, but now I've decided I need one at launch. The PS3 look absolutely stunning, wow..just wow. And the backwards capability for PS1 and PS2 games made me very happy. And the use of "Blue Tooth" is

no it's not. hold off.

the backwards compaitibility of the system makes the ps2 and ps1 obsolete at best because they no longer have purpose in life. if i had a ps2 it would be sobbing itself to sleep at night and contemplating a suicide jump off the entertainment system right now just as my ps1 did when the ps2 launched. -hugs ps1- (dont worry baby i'll never let you go.) anyways. if you can keep your sanity till then, save the cash, literally if you put it into some sort of a market account and let the cash collect a little interest and toss in $5 ever week or so by the time the ps3 launches you can have one of those all spiffy and new.

i mean lets face it. if you get the ps2 now by the time the ps3 hits your going to have to have this SAME argument with mom and dad. and really what you want to do is hit them now with the mature i am gonna wait till the new system comes out. use lots of big words and try to convince them in a very mature sounding manor that YOU HAVE TO HAVE IT OR YOU WILL DIE!!!!!!! <---but state much much better than that. >_O.

Unless her parents aren't willing to dish out the cash for a PS3....PS2 is much cheaper...
