Well, that's a bit of a change, isn't it, killing off Wanda? I was wondering why she wasn't with Pietro (my sketchy X-Men knowledge knows nothing of Lorna). "*had* to die"? Hmmm.

Lorna equals Polaris, who was a member of X-Factor for a while, had a long-lasting relationship with Alex, and eventually joined the X-Men in the last few years.

I decided to get rid of Wanda because her powers were at the same time too ill-defined and too similar to Longshot's. And at they're worst she was far too powerful (*cough*House of M*cough*) to be able to write effectively.

Plus I just like Lorna more.
