I wanna write, but the next chapter I have planned just doesn't have enough to say. So I think I might have to skip to the chapter and see what happens. I really wanted to give some more characters a little bit of a spotlight, but I don't see how it's going to happen without being less than three pages.
I really should cram my script, but I just can't cram by myself. It's tough to memorize a script without someone sitting across from you giving cues. Tomorrow, Tuesday, and Wednesday are going to be interesting, considering we open on Thursday.
I'm at maybe 95%. And I get my beard tomorrow.
Did you know that the term "
Wife-Beater" as a clothing item is purely generational? I said it to my director on Wednesday night when we were discussing costuming and the teenage girl we were working with looked at us like we were insane.
Went to Ikea to buy myself a new lamp to replace the one that went kablooey last night. And to buy a new garbage can, as my curent one is WAY too big. Hard to keep a large garbage can when you live by yourself. Takes far too long to fill and gets stinky.
Ended up with two lamps, a garbage can, three lightbulbs, four plates, three bowls, and six glasses.
If you ever go to Ikea planning to buy only one or two things you're a great big liar.
I miss my old lamp already. I made it in eighth grade, using a limited-edition Pepsi can from 1990, back before it was a regular thing.
It's awesomesauce. Apparently those cans are selling on eBay for 5 bucks. I wonder if anyone would buy my lamp?
Vikings are on. Maybe I can write while I listen.
Or at least do the note thing. Its fairly obvious that I'm not in a cohesive writing frame of mind.
