Oh wow! That was incredible, and finally a glimpse of the Oligarchy - even though it was a little like an episode of Lost (a question answered and a dozen more posed, lol). Glad Carrow got what he had coming, Kitsune was very cool, can't wait to meet the other members of the Oligarchy. Wonder if anyone we already 'know' will be in it? More, please!

Wow! I was panicking there for a paragraph or two, worried about the Lupins, until my brain caught up and reminded me that Carrow "had company of his own".

Hmmmm. I usually like my hero/protagonist to be 'the best' in stories I read. Usually that's Harry in a HP fanfic. You may recall how I was startled when (a) you had Victoire trump Harry's patronus, and then (b) Creevey's daughter appear as a super-powerful witch.

And now you're doing it again ... this Kitsune seems (a) extremely powerful, mind reading and all, and (b) seems to have a low/patronising view of our favourite English wizards. Hmmmm. Looking forward to see how the Oligarchy ties in to everything!

I don't really know what to say... the whole Oligarchy thing is different and not what I was expecting at all... I atleast thought they may be English, maybe even someone we already knew. Anyway, it's still very interesting and I'm glad the Lupin's are alright!

Great job!

"Too bad they weren't alone" after that sweet husband/ wife scene just made my skin crawl. And of course, Antaeus is every bit as evil as his siblings if not worse. Kitsune is very interesting . . .

Very good use of Japanese cultural references and language. :)

Yup, definitely a tonal shift between AtF and Oligarchy... ;)
