DH-Related Question

I just finished reading Ann Margaret's Hermione Granger & The Beginning of the End, and it made me think of something:

So we know that Bellatrix got her ass pwned by Molly, right?

Do we know the whereabouts of Rabastan and Rodolphus Lestrange?  I checked both Wikipedia and the Lexicon, and the last known whereabouts they had for both of them was that ( Read more... )

Inquiring minds want to know... sgt_majorette February 2 2008, 00:01:25 UTC
Which ones were killed in the very beginning.
Which ones were killed when Tommy went ballistic at Malfoy Manor.
Which ones died at the Battle of Hogwarts (and don't say Greyback, because he kept getting up).

And while we're at it, who were the "fifty others" who died for Harry? (Angelina wasn't among them, thank God, because she apparently marries George...)

I spent a good deal of book 5 wondering where Rodolphus Lestrange was, especially becasue Bellatrix was in it so much.

If memory serves (and I was just listening to this in the car yesterday), Rabastan was hit by Arthur Weasley during the escape from Privet Drive in Deathly Hallows. It's mentioned in "Fallen Warrior." It seems clear that most of the people who were hit were knocked off of their brooms; it seems likely that a number of them fell to their deaths, since Hermione points out that Moody fell a thousand feet and is extremely unlikely to have survived.

Wait-it wasn't Arthur. Kingsley, maybe?

Yeah, according to a PotterWiki I found, that was the only mention of either of the Lestrange brothers during DH. Whether he survived or not, who knows? And Rodolphus kinda disappeared.

I do not know.

Did you like it??? It's probably one of my favourite storylines in the AU fanfic world :)

The last one - Follow Through is a bit confusing but I liked it too. Goes into Hermione and her obsession about getting her memories from 'that night' back.

It wasn't bad. Long. I started skimming after while, cuz it got WAY too heavy on the "Ron and I are perfect for each other because a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h..." etc etc etc... But the ideas that she had were interesting.

I started reading HGHBP now, so I'm hoping to get her HG series done at some point...

Just reread Fallen Warrior and Tonk told Remus, Harry and Hermione that they definitely injured Rudolphus, but didn't find any information on what happened to Rabastan. Of course, that might be something we will all have to wait to find out when she finally does the "Scottish" book.
