It's been a LONG time since I've played a game where you can't save whenever you damn well please.  Holy crap, I just wasted an hour between save points and got killded without saving.

You can ALSO tell that I'm not used to watching TV for hours on end.  Oh my poor eyes.

I'm mostly a passive-gamer type of gamer. RPGs like Final Fantasy or Paper Mario, short level games like Guitar Hero or Wii Sports.

Metroid Prime's one of those games that I'm sure is seen as incredibly easy for your average hardcore. But for me... holy crap.

I actually bought the DS version about a year ago and tried the multi-player mode, going online to play other gamers. I got slaughtered. It wasn't even pretty.

haha. I like thinking games myself. Or simulation games ( which can be thinking games) Mostly i watch. I love the FF series. But i forbade my husband from touching 11 again with the treat of divorce.. NOT pretty when he got into that game. That one sucks you in.... 18 hours a day.
He likes killing games, so usually thats what i watch. While writing hehe.
Those people who play online. They love those games. And they get very very skilled at them... I watch and see that. And people get VERY mad when they arent as good as they want to be.. or as good as you... and experenced gamers dont want to play with newbies....

oh, yeah, FFXI's the only one I haven't played. Me and MMORPGs have never clicked. I like to play them solo, with a definite ending and a definite plot.
