Oh, this is really wonderful. I'm really interested in the idea of Harry having to tell the story to an "outsider" after it's happened, because of course in the books we have a very limited perspective, and it's easy to forget that almost no one save the Trio knew what was really going on. Can't wait for the next installment. :D

Beyond that, I think it'll just be fun to write it from HIS perspective, instead of an outside narrator. get his thoughts, his feelings, that kinda thing.

But that's for next chapter. ;)

That's pretty much the purpose of this whole thing. We all know how it ends. I just try to toss as many curveballs into the mix as I can without fucking with canon.

Well, the outline's done. Rowling wrote it for me. Looks nice. lol

But, haven't started writing it yet, though. This weekend, though, definitely.

Well, it could have been worse. In a pairing list story I wrote right before TDH was released, I made Rowling Harry's biographer. The characters I was pairing them with (Willow and Cordelia from Buffy) were from a verse where the Potter books actually existed and were quoted as pop culture lexicon, so I had to play with it. The books had to be labeled as fiction because if she played them off as history she'd be breaking Statute.
