An Update
I shrunk my Word document to a ten point font. I'm currently just starting my seventh page. I still have one more scene to write in the chapter before I even get to the actual ceremony, let alone the reception and all that happens there.
Needless to say, this is going to be a multi-part day type of chapter. I'm probably going to divide it up into two separate chapters a la The Incident and A Few Minutes Later versus just pretending it's one chapter on two pages like Our Little Wilkins or Housewarming.
First part should definitely be done tomorrow. Whether I post it right away or hold it to post concurrently with the other half (pre-wedding & wedding vs. reception) is something I'll decide when I get there.
Otherwise, I'm having fun writing characters I've never written. I'm trying my best to keep the quartet out of the narrative, and I think it's working nicely so far.
