After a few months of attempting to sell it from anywhere from $.99 to $3.99, with nary a single bid to speak of, I finally sold my hardcover copy of HBP with six bids, top being $7.25.
Yeah. I don't get eBay sometimes, either. Who knows, maybe the release of the Deathly Hallows covers spurred some people into action.
Well, either way, I just have to pack it up and drive to the post office, and it'll finally be out of my hair.
As for the peculiarities of Minnesota... I was awoken this morning at about quarter to seven by a gurgling noise coming from my heat, and again at about nine by a pounding on my door, a maintenance guy asking if there was any water around my baseboards. He said "the heat'll be out for a bit, there's a leak in one of the rooms, so we can't get the pressure up."
Yup, that's Minnesota. Earlier in the week we were all in heaven because temps hit the 80's. Today it's in the lower 40's and we're complaining about our heat being out.
