Progress Is Made

Those Left Behind posted last night.  Death: The High Cost of Living arrived at the library today, so I'll be picking that up tonight, reading it over the next few days, and hopefully getting enough of a grasp on the character to comfortably write the Firefly crossover over the weekend, depending on how much of a social life I have.

My word, you haven't read D:THCoL yet? You're in for such a treat. I absolutely love everyone in this, even the "villains". (and that one has the sex-ed pamphlet in the back of it. Score!)

Oh, and Tommy (I think... I haven't read it in a while) is almost exactly in the same mental and physical condition that Willy is. He's the little boy in the wheelchair in the hallway. I love the characters and Gaiman for treating him with such respect.

What else can I say about this? Uhmmmm.... Have you read all of Sandman? I love love love Death's introduction, and her calm, everyday personality. It contrasts so well with the personalities of her brothers and sisters!

In other words... um... if you're not sure about Death's character, I'm totally up for a beta read.

Yeah, I was never into Gaiman much. I'm usually not a fan of metaphysical.

Read it last night, it was very good, and I have a very good read on Death's character. I started writing last night, and should have it done by saturday.
