Okay, I realize, off topic, but I saw your post on a community and your icon said something about pissing off Romy fans. That is not the only mention I have seen of this Romy. Okay, so... who or what the hell is Romy???

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but the community I found you on is X-Men related and I know about X-Men, but know nothing of this Romy, so... I'd appreciate a response, thanks. Have a great day!

Eh, it's a fandom thing. A lot of people (not me) take a lot of pairings that they like and list them as one word. Spike + Buffy = Spuffy, Peter + Claire from Heroes = Paire.

Romy is the term for Rogue + Remy for the X-Men series. Fans of this couple tend to be very particular and don't like to see them anywhere else. So when I hooked up Remy and Theresa Cassidy (Siryn) in my New Mutants series, I had a few people saying "No! Remy and Rogue, Remy and Rogue!" To which my response is "pppphhhh, cram it, it's my story."

So that's my icon's explanation.

Oh, okay, I see! When I first saw it I thought, "Is that supposed to be Remy, for Gambit?" I knew about people combining the names of their pairings (like Spawn = Spike + Dawn my fav name combo), but I guess I just didn't put together Rouge and Gambit. Thanks for the reply, and also for the good fic. Keep it up, I enjoy reading your stuff. :D
