So here's an update since last I left you...I'm still unemployed, still homeless, and still looking. I recently wrapped a 4 day shoot with Kevin that was for no pay. Every time I say I'll never do another free job I do exactly that. Four 18 hour days in a row, working as first ac, second ac, dolly grip, electrician, grip, and transpo. Fucking kills me. Anyways. We shot on the Warner Bros back lot. I met Bryan Singer, Tim Robbins kept driving past our set looking pissed, and I am now on a frist name basis with Darren Stein, the director. All of this still doesn't cover the gas I used driving to Burbank every morning. Our set up was pretty sick though. We shot Varicam (meh) but we got digiprimes and a 10x10 Fujinon zoom. Really couldn't have shot with better glass. The actual shooting was pretty cool. It was refreshing to be back on set again, although talking with the grips and electrics got me thinking of this as a job. Really? You mean lugging a camera around literally all day isn't recreation? Never again....as ptrain so eloquently put it...I need to be stackin that paper.
Living with Abbe as my welcome was worn out elsewhere. I have a feeling I'm on the fast track to becoming that guy perpetually dressed in bathrobe and 5 o'clock shadow whose address is "Couch".

I went on interviews at WMA and CAA. Got neither.
