"No Man's Sky Angry Review"

Here is some of the shit that I cut out of the previous post about this game.

Man, it really looks like this Peter MolyneuxSean Murray guy really oversold FableNo Man's Sky here.

I dunno. I'd have thought people would have learned by now not to blindly buy into pre-release hype for a game. *shrug* I sure as fuck don't, not anymore. Developers hyping their game to the high heavens and then not delivering on promised shit is just how the video game industry rolls these days, dawg. Yeah, I hate it too.

That said, I still liked Fable well enough for what it was at release, despite all the broken promises, and I'll probably still like No Man's Sky as well, whenever it drops to around $15-$20 or so (and I'd already long since decided that the game was worth only that much to me even before I saw that Joe said exactly the same thing in his video there). Hell, maybe by that point in time, the game will actually be finished, who knows?

Then again, even for what it is right now, it already basically sounds like sort of a mix of Minecraft (IN SPACE) and Spore (yet another game that promised far, far more than it ever delivered on). I liked both of those games well enough in their released states, too.

But even beyond the whole issue of broken promises, the additional design flaws and bugs and crashes that Joe brings up at the end do sound like some rather rancid shit sandwiches.

In the end, I'd have to really think long and hard before I buy this game at all, even at a $15 price point (assuming that they haven't fixed most of the worst problems by then).

games (2016), game industry stuff (2016), game bugs suck, angry joe
