"Microsoft updates Xbox One online requirements, 24 hour check gone, trading and borrowing safe"

So Microsoft decided to stop being retarded and backpedaled on most of the stupid bullshit that shouldn't have been there to begin with. Well, I guess that's good news.

In any case, though, I'm still probably not going to be getting an X-bone. Microsoft has pretty much already ruined their chance to make a good first impression with me. There would have to be a very, very compelling reason for me to get one before I'd change my mind now, and even then it would still be years in the future, when it's dirt cheap, probably near the end of its cycle. It's not likely that such a reason will ever present itself, though.

Of course, there's still the Kinect requirement, the anti-indie games crap, and so on. Yeah, while the X-bone isn't as radioactive as it was, it's still pretty damn toxic.

(EDIT)

In any event, I guess we can now go back to hating the individual publishers whenever they inevitably implement the next inane shit in their games, for any of the consoles or PC, rather than concentrating all of that hate onto a single console maker. For the record, I still to this day have not bought Command & Conquer 4, Diablo III, Mass Effect 3, or SimCity 5, and I still have no plans to do so.

(/EDIT)

x-bone, drm, microsoft sucks, game industry stuff, games
