So I've been suppressing my MC urge for a while. And when I saw the wolves update, I was like "Pfft, just wolves. I'll wait for the next update."

But deep down my inner self was screaming. It wanted to play with the wolves. But alas I pushed him further down.

Yet, everyone keeps talking about them, showing pictures, and it's becoming difficult to resist booting up my server again.

Also, did I ever send you an invite to my MC server (when it was up)? I called it Threepwoods (I name all my electronic stuff after characters from Tim Shaefer games) and it already features a giant Monkey Island monkey head. I was last trying to plan out the Scumm Bar.

Yeah you did. Nothing personal, but I'm not going to be playing it multiplayer.

I know, aren't wolves awesome! However, they have a tendency to fall off skyways and down pits in caves, so I usually only bring mine out when I go hunting farm animals. :/ I had a pack of 5 that i'd left in a base to go night-wandering, and i was attacked by a spider. the wolves came to my rescue of course, but they teleported right into a field of cacti and all died! ;_;

also, why don't you want to try multiplayer? Nothing wrong with feeling that way; I'm just curious. I've really enjoyed myself on my friend's multiplayer server, but then, it is just us few friends and we don't attack each other.

I'm just multiplayer averse in general, for the most part (which I'll have to get over when The Secret World comes out since, you know, MMO and all).

As far as Minecraft in particular goes, I'm at least going to wait until Mord gets a computer beefy enough to run it before trying the multiplayer.

Oh, regarding the wolves, be a bit careful if you take them splunking into caves (they can make great beacons/checkpoints by making them sit and wait for you).

As not only do they fall into pits, they can accidently push -you- into pits. As Coe found out when his wolf pushed him into a pit of lava. :)
