I Has the Sick
Been feeling off for over a week now. Lung issues. I thought it was just my allergies and a bad reaction to Claritin-D, but ooooooh no. After I got out of the shower last night, my lungs got so bad that I could barely breath and I could not stop coughing. Finally, after an hour of this, my dear wife woke up and made me call the hospital. They said to come in. Doctor thought it is more than likely a really bad case of bronchitis, but it might be pneumonia. To save me money on an x-ray, he prescribed me the pneumonia grade antibiotics just to be safe. And cough medicine. And steroids for the lung inflammation. And an inhaler to help me breath. It all did help, though, as I got home and passed out for 10 hours...at 4am. They were a bit busy and I wasn't the only one with borderline pneumonia. Saw something on the news about an outbreak locally. Well, I'm off to take more cough syrup, steroids and inhalant then too bed. Doctor ordered me to stay home the rest of the week just in case. If its not better in a week, I have to go in for x-rays as it might be something more serious (doubt it).
