/me idly goes back to not giving a shit about Street Fighter V.

I bought the original Street Fighter IV for Xbox 360, not long after it first came out. At first, I tried (in retrospect, foolishly) and failed to buy the Collector's Edition, after which (in retrospect, even more foolishly) I fucking rebought the standard edition, along with one-day shipping, which cost like $70 total (and then I just pirated the OST and the anime that was supposed to come with the CE ¬_¬). I later bought Super Street Fighter IV, also for Xbox 360, for around $10 (which, in retrospect, was still probably paying too much ¬_¬), about which I apparently didn't even bother to make a LJ post.
All of that, of course, was before I stopped buying new games at full price at all, ever.
After that, at some point, I bought the Street Fighter Alpha Anthology and the Street Fighter Anniversary Collection for dirt cheap, used, from EB Games/GameStop (back before I stopped buying anything from them at all ever, and boy howdy does this lead me into yet another huge, frothing rant, which will be upcoming in another post in the very near future). And lastly, I got Ultra Street Fighter IV as part of a Humble Bundle I paid $15 for last October (from which I have played a grand total of 21 minutes of USF4 so far, according to Steam).
In any case, yeah, I have no interest whatsoever in Street Fighter V (nor any "super," "ultra," or whatever versions which may come in the future, even though Capcom supposedly claims that there will be no "Super" or whatever versions, because Street Fighter V is apparently a "service" now instead of a "game"). And this is even if it wasn't online-only. Being online-only means that the game is an absolute no-buy for me, even if it had otherwise been a game of utterly orgasmic quality, which it clearly is not.
Also, it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that the PC Gamer comments are clogged with rep management drones and/or fanboys shills. That's at least part of the reason I stopped paying attention to sites like that in the first place.
