On this day in history...
Good Evening World,
We wanted change, we asked for it, begged for it, died for it.
Now that we have spoken, I hope we can take this change and make of it everything we wish. I have to say both canidates gave very powerful speeches tonight. And in it, they spoke to many of the ideals that resonate with the American People, supporters of either side. Heartfelt in the way we have not seen for most of this campaign, and in fact more than we have seen in any election I can remember in my 30 years.
We, as Americans, now have a chance to set our course towards the things we believe in as a people. Freedom, Prosperity, Care, and community for the entire world. We are no longer alone, and we cannot pretend that we exist in an vacuum. We are, in fact, part of the World as a whole. And We, as the World, have a chance to work together to create the kind of future we wish ourselves and all people to inhabit.
It is a new world, history has been made, even if it may not have been the history every person would have chosen.
We must face forward at this point, open our eyes, and see into the future of what will, and can be.
Here is to the dawn of a new generation, here is to the dawn of a new tomorrow.
I can't wait to open my eyes to all things our future holds...
