Ok...I am weak. I couldn't stay away. I miss my online friends too much.

Oh my, what a week! There were a great many moments this past week that I really wanted to just crawl under a rock and hide. My children apparently lost their minds, I am sick with worry over my husband, I lost another friend, Paige broke my favorite cake plate, and just because life wasn't quite hard enough, my air conditioning decided to die during the hottest month of the year.
I have looked very hard for these 10 things I was amused by or was thankful for...if some of them seem to be a stretch, please take into consideration my state of mind and forgive me.
1. Both girls found what they deemed the "perfect" backpack for the next school year. Happy Bunny for Jaz and Aristocats for Amber. They are purchased and checked off the school supply list.
2. Gas prices have gone back down. And we still haven't reached the $4 mark. Our highest ever has been $3.96.
3. An actual, for real letter from my Sweetie. I loved it.
4. When my landlord realized that the a/c couldn't be repaired and it would be Monday before anyone could replace it, she immediately found two window units and had them temporarily installed so that we wouldn't have to suffer the 100* heat all weekend.
5. The Mortal Kombat movies. Watched them both again this week, first time in years. The girls were highly amused, especially Amber. She now spends her days running through the house pretending to be Scorpio. "Get over here!"
6. Splurging on a hot fudge sundae. True, it was only a small one. And there was no whipped cream. And it wasn't really ice cream, but frozen yogurt. But there was chocolate. Lots of it. And peanuts. And a cherry on top.
7. Paige and Amber found me a new pen while out shopping today. It is a light up one and has Jack Jack (from The Incredibles) on it. I love fun pens. I have a mini flower pot on my desk just full of them.
8. One more lb lost. Total lost = 34 lbs.
9. Paige finally is getting her car fixed. It's only been sitting broken in the driveway for 3 months.
10. Jared found Ginger...Amber's gingerbread doll. May not sound like a big deal, but it's important to her.
I have been so out of contact with the world this week that I don't even know who all is in need of prayer. Here is an abbreviated list.
I always pray for my husband and his team.
I am praying for Dorothy and Evelyn's husbands...David and Paul.
For Kathy and Curt and Curt's father.
For Chari.
For Lynne and her family. Tina and her family. Kelly's daughter and her husband.
Eyvonne, Sheryl, and Susanne.
