Hey everyone, please share this message to parents of Deaf children or Deaf children ages between 7-12!!! They still accept “last minute” applications but camp sessions is coming up really soon. I suggest you go our website and print the applications. Mail it or fax it soon. Also please include physical forms with other applications so you can go to camp. California Lions Camp
Session 1: July 23 - July 29
Session 2: July 30 - August 6
Ages 7 - 17
$300 financial assistance available (you can go there for free, but you can pay on your own also)
Camp Description
Camp Pacifica is located in the foothills of the Sierra, about one hour away from Yosemite. The camp consists of 52 acres in the lower edges of the mountain forest of oak and pine woods.
Camp Activities:
-evening campfire
-field games
-swimming activities
-canoeing on Fawn Lake
-horse back riding
-skits and drama
-archery
-arts and crafts
Goals of California Lions Camp
-To promote greater independence and self confidence
-To learn and appreciate diversity, nature, and the great outdoors
-To provide opportunities for social interaction and further development of social skills
-To participate in recreational activities
-To provide opportunities to develop friendships while having fun
