She moved to withdraw from him, gently turning them around so both of them rested on their sides. "I love you, Sandy." Kirsten whispered, meaning every single word. A soft wow escaped her lips after the sentiment, before she shared a tired smile with him.
"What, can't I love you back?" Kirsten answered back, chuckling quietly. Words weren't needed for her to express how incredible he was and still is, even after such a long time. Each time they made love seemed to be even better than the last.
She moved closer to Sandy, needing to feel him against her again. She raised her head up a little, just enough so that her lips reached his neck. Without warning, Kirsten began to kiss, nip and suck lightly on it, bringing up a small bruise to mark him as hers, while one of her hands joined the one he had draped over her waist.
"Again?" He asked, his voice strangled by the feelings coursing through his body. The tone was one of surprise. The though of Kirsten wanting to have sex again was quite shocking to Sandy.
Kirsten laughed against his skin, not pulling away from his neck until she was satisfied with the mark she left there. She brushed her fingertip lightly over the bruise, before she looked up and locked her gaze with Sandy's.
She kissed him once, her lips briefly touching his. "You want to know what I think?" Kirsten chuckled after mentioning this out loud, the answer to her own question making her amused.
Sandy played along. "What do you think, baby?" His eyes held an amused gaze as he stared into her eyes.
"I think..." Kirsten paused for dramatic effect. After a few more moments of bemused silence, she finally continued on. "I think I should use our pool and go swimming more often." She smirked, absentmindedly running her palms over the muscles on his upper arm.
"I think..." He paused just as she had. "That is the best idea I've ever heard." He said simply. He sealed their pact with a kiss.
Kirsten pulled back immediately, though she gestured for Sandy to wait. She sat up, her upper body bathed in the beautiful Californian moonlight as she reached out to pull up the covers neatly folded at the foot of the bed.
Contented with how they were cuddled under the luxurious fabric, Sandy's chest slightly exposed while the cover was tucked beneath her arm, she resumed her position next to Sandy's and kissed him again.
Sandy wasn't sure why Kirsten was moving when he was so content. He smiled when she returned to him. His arm wrapped around her once again and held her close. "You tired, baby?" He asked, quietly.
She nodded her answer against his chest, before pulling her head away slightly so she could get a better look at her husband. Who wouldn't be tired after several rounds of having hot, intense sex around the house?
"In a nice way." Kirsten cooed contentedly. She didn't need to voice out that only he ever made her feel that way, and she wouldn't have it any other way. She also noticed that he looked just as tired and satisfied as her, which made her giggle quietly. "I suppose you're finished with me now?" She joked, feigning disappointment.
"I was going to let you off the hook." Sandy spoke quietly. "But," Sandy rolled them over so he was on top of her again. "If you want more," He kissed her. "Who am I to deny you?"
Kirsten laughed, the corners of her eyes crinkling as she looked at her husband. His body on top of hers added pleasant weight that was enough not to crush her.
"I could go with more of this." She informed him before bringing his head down to hers so she could kiss him. It was obvious from all they've done this evening that she was more than tired, though she wasn't saying no to some heavy making out. It was like college all over again.
Sandy smiled down at his wife. He slowly lowered his head to hers and embraced her lips with his. His tongue begged her lips for entrance to her mouth.
Unable to deny him, Kirsten parted her swollen lips and allowed him to kiss her further, her tongue meeting his in the middle of their locked lips. She began running out of breath again and tried to calm herself down by breathing through her nose. She wouldn't break this kiss for anything.
Both her palms cupped his face tenderly, before they moved sensually down on either side of his sculpted body. As her caresses went on, Kirsten stroked his tongue with her own erotically, before she began sliding it in and out of his mouth in a seductive manner.
Sandy smiled into the kiss when she allowed him in. His tongue immediately sought out hers and found it. His hand moved to cup her face and he wound his fingers through her hair. He held her head tightly so she couldn't break the kiss even if she wanted to.
In response to this sudden possessiveness, Kirsten curled her fingers at the back of his neck, holding his head steady as she continued to kiss him with a renewed hunger. She swirled her tongue within his warm mouth before seeking out his tongue again, teasing it with several small flicks. Her free hand draped over his exposed back, her fingers dancing lightly over the skin as she moved her hand up and down his spine.
Sandy shivered at his wife's touches. His breath was getting short but he didn't dare break the kiss. He was careful not to hold her head too tightly or pull her hair. He lowered his body slightly. Their chests touched only a little.
Kirsten smiled a little, sensing Sandy falter for a moment out of breathlessness. She herself was feeling faint, but it was seemingly a challenge on who would break the kiss first, at the rate they were going.
She moved her kisses to his bottom lip, taking it between her teeth and running her tongue over it, while she nibbled gently, not wanting to draw blood. She moved to lick his upper lip, before fully returning to the kiss.
Sandy wasn't sure if his wife was doing what he thought she was doing. By the time she started nibbling on his lips, Sandy had figured out that she was doing what he thought she was doing. She was challenging him to a contest. Oh-ho. Big mistake. Sandy thought to himself.
As soon as his wife returned to the kiss, Sandy took charge and kissed her deeply. It was most likely considered full on tonsil hockey. But just as suddenly as he had kissed her so deeply, Sandy suddenly slowed down their kiss. He kissed her in the way that he knew made her knees go weak. His hand moved to cup her face and he delicately traced her jaw line with his thumb.
Kirsten felt an all too familiar jolt in her stomach when he kissed her deeply, and for a moment, she faltered, unable to kiss him back. Her world seemed to spin as he continued to kiss her that way, her breathing becoming more ragged.
Gradually, she managed to recover and slowly kissed her husband back, following his lead as he slowed down the kiss. He was giving her the kiss she liked the best, the one that sent her head over heels for him. She relaxed in her contentment, forgetting the challenge she had set earlier.
Sandy kept kissing her slowly. Breathing through his nose was becoming more and more of a hassle. He couldn't help but smile and he chuckled into their kiss. However, he managed to keep his lips pressed to hers.
Kirsten's hands returned to Sandy's back, his skin heated with desire the same way she knew hers was.
She wrapped her arms tightly around him, pulling him closer than they already were. Then her palms made their way to his ass, where she gripped the tender flesh down there. In the midst of all this, she continued to moan breathily.
Sandy felt her hands on his butt. In response to this action, he growled quietly into her mouth. His tongue picked up pace, needing to feel her. His hands started roaming her body as well. First, he felt her stomach as much as he could. Then, his hand moved up her stomach and touched her sensitive flesh on her chest. He ran his thumb over it extra slow.
She tried to gasp, getting more aroused with his touches that burned trails all over her body, but his mouth on hers prevented her for doing that. Instead, she let out several low moans, her eyes rolling back while she felt her world spin.
She continued to fondle the skin on his behind, cupping as much as she could in her hands, squeezing and pulling him down so their lower halves came into direct contact. Kirsten could feel the effect of their kissing and touching against her groin, which only heightened what she felt even more.
Sandy felt his wife push him down further onto her. When their bottom halves met, Sandy couldn't stand it any further. He broke their kiss and immediately tried to regulate his breathing. He gasped for air and panted. He looked at Kirsten and couldn't help but chuckle at her. He lost.
Kirsten didn't see him look at her, too distracted with recovering and trying to calm down her breathing. If Sandy hadn't pulled away sooner, she would've done it herself.
She was limp on the bed, not moving, in an effort to steady her heartbeat. Her lips were parted slightly, still moist after the kiss, and when she finally opened her eyes, she licked them, tasting the both of them.
Sandy smiled down at his wife. He leaned down and kissed her softly on the nose. "I love you." He whispered quietly.
Kirsten returned his smile with one that made her dilated eyes light up. "I love you more." She whispered back, as if that sentiment was a secret between the two of them even though almost everyone knew.
Her small hands touched his cheek, feeling the stubble that had accumulated there since he shaved his morning. His skin was rough, but she loved the feel of it on her. Their gazes met, and for a moment, all there was to Kirsten was her husband looking at her with those eyes she knew so well.
"Not possible." He retorted back. He gazed at her for a few moments and the world seemed to melt around the two of them. He bent down and began to kiss her again. However this time, it was slow and sensual. His tongue gently asked for entrance.
"It is!" Kirsten argued back with a higher tone, though obviously she wasn't really mad at him. She loved her husband more than anyone else in the world, so much to the point that it overwhelmed her.
She didn't have time to hear what he had to say about that, as he had dipped his head to kiss her again. Slowly, this time. Before she could allow him to deepen the kiss though, she pulled away slightly and whispered insistently against his lips. "I love you more."
Sandy shook his head vigorously. "Nope. I love you more. Sorry, baby. You can't win. It's a fact." He started kissing her again before she could say much else.
"But what about me?" Kirsten managed to say before her lips were on hers again, ultimately cutting her off from arguing further. She chuckled into the kiss, kissing him back but refusing to open her mouth for his tongue.
Sandy groaned when she refused to let him in. "Baby!" He whined after tearing his lips from hers. He looked down at her and pouted/scowled at her.
Kirsten smiled, getting that wicked look in her eyes. She turned them over so that she was now on top of his body, both of them still tucked beneath the heavy covers.
"What will it take for me to convince you that I love you as much as you love me?" She snarked, pinning his hands to the bed so that he wouldn't be able to touch her. She stared down at Sandy with a look of devilish glee.
"You dressing up as a bright red lobster and shaking your butt to stop traffic while wearing a sandwich sign that reads 'I love Sandy Cohen!'" Sandy said very matter-of-factly.
Kirsten stared him down some more, feigning disapproval. "Watch it, or I'll leave you like this." Taking advantage of her position on top, she moved her leg and rubbed it along his inner thigh.
Her demeanor quickly changed, going into her begging, groveling, cajoling mode. She waited for Sandy's reaction to her words, before she was going to make her next move.
"Kirsten..." Sandy whined. The feeling of her leg that close was too much. "Why must you be so cruel to me?"
"Oh, honey." Kirsten laughed, ceasing her actions as she repositioned herself slightly on top of his body. She dipped her head to kiss the tip of his nose while keeping his wrists pinned to the bed with her own hands.
"I've been cruel to you for years. Why stop now?" She mocked, echoing his words from an earlier encounter. She gave him her best, innocent smile as she continued to look at him, searching his eyes.
"Well could you at least be cruel quickly?" Sandy pleaded. He chuckled as he felt that she was pinning his wrists.
Kirsten laughed again and relinquished her hold on Sandy's wrists. She never meant to be cruel to him tonight anyway. She rested her head on his chest so that she was lying down on top of him, while both of her fingertips trailed along his sides.
"I do love you, more than you'll never know." She said meaningfully, closing her eyes as she felt the steady rise and fall of his chest relaxing. Before Sandy could retort that he loved her more than she did him, she intervened. "I doubt you'd want that I don't love you back." Kirsten found herself shaking her head at her own words. The unbearable thought, now that was something not possible.
"I'd die." Sandy said quietly. Her words sobered his argument. His arms wrapped around her tightly while his hands still managed to caress her skin lightly. He held her close to him possessively.
Kirsten nodded into his chest. "Me too." She lifted her head to look up at him, searching his deep eyes with her bright ones. She looked perfectly content just to look at him while he held her close.
It was only then and there that she noticed something was lacking. Her wedding ring finger was bare, having taken them off when she went swimming. While Kirsten hated having them off, it was better over losing them in the pool.
"Wait..." She whispered, crawling towards the bedside table and opening the drawer. She quickly found them at the very spot where she left them earlier. Smiling, Kirsten slid them on one by one, in order, doing them so in an almost reverent way.
Sandy smiled at her words. They were such a Lifetime movie. The words they shared were so true, though.
He looked confused as his wife scrambled off of him. He waited and watched her locate what she was looking for. He saw her slide her rings on her finger. He smiled, remembering sliding those rings onto her finger all those years ago.
"You thought you could get away with it, didn't you?" Sandy asked, acting upset. "You thought you could get away with taking off those precious rings?"
Kirsten decided to play along and looked upset as well. "Well, what are you going to do about it?" She pouted, fingering her rings possessively while she made her way back on top of him.
"You can't take these back. They're mine." She said brattily, reminiscent of a little girl whose parents had just told her she couldn't have her candy.
Sandy smiled at her. "Yeah. They're yours." He said, giving up their argument before it even started. He kissed what of her he could reach. "I wouldn't take them away. Wouldn't have any reason to."
"Got a nice ring to it, huh?" Sandy said as he heard her utter her name. He smiled as she said it. It sounded so good when she said it.
"Yeah." She nodded in agreement. The name defined who she had been for the past seventeen years, and who she will be for the rest of her life. Definitely something she wouldn't have any other way.
Kirsten rolled off his chest and settled at his side, spooned beneath the sheets. Her eyes were beginning to droop, and while it was still early, she was already tired. She rubbed his chest absently as she stifled a yawn.
"Aww, baby." Sandy said as he saw her yawn. "Did I tire you out?" He asked playfully. His finger danced down her cheek.
Kirsten's answer was a soft laugh that was like music floating around the hollow bedroom. "Three times, wasn't it?" She asked back, referring to how many times they've sealed the deal in just one night. She grinned again, somewhat proud of the number. So much for quality time.
Sandy pushed himself up so he could look into her moonlit eyes. He smiled at the number and sighed contentedly. "Yeah. Although, if you count the individual times.." He let his voice trail off.
"I think I've lost count." Kirsten laughed again. This was probably the best quality time the both of them had in quite a long time, and she cherished it while it lasted.
She yawned again and felt herself succumb to sleep, though her eyes remained focused on her husband who was above her. "Be there in the morning?" She pleaded, wanting to wake up in the arms of her husband. That was always how she liked to wake up best.
"All night long, too." Sandy confirmed. He kissed her nose softly. "Sleep tight, baby."
"I love you more." He whispered softly into her ear. He was referring to their game of earlier. However, he doubted either of them had the energy to play again.
Sandy wrapped his arms around his wife and pulled her close, snuggling next to her. He left a kiss on her head before closing his eyes himself.
The End.
