Superman in limbo?
I was trying to dig up some news about the next Superman movie, thinking it's been like three years since the Superman returns movie came out, and I was trying to find out what was the hold up on the next movie. Why have we, the fans, been waiting so long for the next installment to the Superman Saga to come out?
All i was able to find was a little snippet of info from the superman homepage.
Basically what that article said is that the movie production company didn't think SR did as well as they'd liked. So instead of continuing the story that they already have, they are going to reintroduce Superman in a new dark way. They weren't even able to say whether or not they would even be using the same cast from SR.
This is making me mad because I thought that SR was awesome. I want to know what the next part of the story is. Do Lois and Clark finally get together? What about his son? I'm just frustrated with these movie companies who just think about the money and not the fans. I understand that its a business, but they can still try to compromise and give us what we want while making it new.
This new movie is supposed to come out 2011 or 2012. That is so far away. I just hate to wait so long for a movie and then when you finally get to see it, its a disappointment.
