The beanie explanation
Yeah, I let her wear the beanie.
I think since you owe her (at least) about 30 dollars, she has right to wear a hat *I* bought for you. I think that since you helped yourself to her clothes while you were here, she can help herself to your hat when your not. Besides, you have her North Carolina hat. An eye for and eye and a hat for a hat, eh?
So... yeah... I let her wear the beanie.
[EDIT:you know, we still need to trade stuff. Well, what of my stuff hasn;t been pawned or given away or whatever. You can have your hat back. You give her her jack and gas can (and her hat would be nice too) and she'll give you your beanie. We blew a tire on the way home from seeing mom and the sibs and had to wait 2 hours on the side of the road because SOMEONE has the jack in her car. I doubt the lack of beanie has caused much strife.]
