Well, I know I will have lots to update, but for the sake of it, I'll just touch on a few good points that I can clear off my Mission 101 list! Maybe it's kind of cheating, but I had been working on my list since Novemberish, but before we booked this trip. So some of the things we did in Florida were on my list, but at the same time, I knew they had to be on my list since I HAD to do them...make sense? This trip wouldn't have happened if not for my amazing parents. I can't wait to come back during Christmas and visit.
If we decide to do some Disney then, we'll book it in advance. They have a program thingy that you can book your trip in advance and then pay monthly or whatever on it. You just have to have it all paid for a few weeks before you go there. I think that's what we would do when we go again. Our tickets for 3 days (with park hoppers) for 4 people was more than I pay for my 4 bedroom house each month!!! Anyway, I can't wait to do this all again. It was exhausting, but so worth it. My kids were awesome and we all had a blast.
So, some updates on my list with pictures!! I'll try getting around to a real update soon!
42. Have new family pictures taken at the beach - Done! Jake cropped this all up and made it nice and we blew it up and had it developed today for my Mom and Dad. Now, I don't have to worry about mailing it! :) Because as you all know, I so suck at mailing stuff!
68. Take kids to Disney World - All 4 parks (Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot) in 3 days! There was still sooooo much we could have done, I can see why people can spend a week in those parks.
69. Take kids to Sea World - This has been something Brady has wanted to do for ages! We have this Sea World bilboard by our house and he talks about wanting to go there constantly. We went on his birthday when we were here. It was actually FREEZING that day, but we all still had a ton of fun. The dolphins were so awesome. My favorite animal, and somehow I think they knew it. At the Dolphin Nursery I had a bunch just posing for me. I love our family picture here too, but there is a little sun glare or something on my face, lol. Oh well! :)
80. Build a sandcastle with the kids and then let them wreck it - We went to Daytona Beach last Sunday and it started off a little chilly with the wind, but it warmed up enough that we had a nice time. I can't believe that it's all starting to warm up now that we are leaving! :(
(meh, you don't need a picture here, but it happened!)
Ok, so I think that's it for now! Oh, also! I read Zombie Haiku while I was down here! I borrowed it from Shae and read it on our way to the beach. I updated that on my list and also my Books Read in 2008 list. I wish I had more time for reading when we were here since Shae has so many good books! Lol, like I would have had any time! I picked out a book and Jake bought me The Tales of Beedle the Bard last weekend, too. And, I still have books I borrowed from a co-worker. Ugh, I need to finish that book on the plane tomorrow so I can take it back to him on Tuesday!
I really don't want to be leaving tomorrow... :( but I am looking forward to my own bed and seeing my animals again. I talked to Jill who is taking care of our pets. She said they are doing just fine and have been a lot of fun, but I still can't wait to see them and love them again. I'm just glad that we have been able to spend as much time as we have with my family. I love them so much!
