(no subject)
I'm a big fan of sarcasm. No really, I am. I use it daily and can often relate to many sarcastic comments. However, in the case of the one I was the recepient of...well I'm a little put off.
Lady with a jammed printer: Yeah, it's jammed so bad I can't pull the paper out without burning my fingers.
Me: So it's jammed at the fuser? (Because that's the part that heats the toner up...and I know that much at least)
Lady with a jammed printer: I don't know, I went to Nursing School. I don't know the parts of a printer.
Me: Right, you know body parts not printer parts....(we laugh)
So, the words sound funny/sarcastic enough, but it was her tone that has me all bothered. I made a simple comment, but then again, maybe she did too. Meh, oh well, just interesting to me at the moment.
