(no subject)
A few random things...
- Is anyone planning on watching Conan/Leno tonight? I'm actually really looking forward to it! (If I can stay awake...may just Tivo it!)
- Did anyone watch the MTV movie awards last night? Hilariousness was Eminem and his fiasco that MSNBC is reporting as staged, Kristen Stewart dropping her award, and Leann Rhimes singing "Jizz in My Pants". Even more funny was when the kids geeked out over this and started singing along...think we've played that song and watched too many parodies of it? Yeah, just had to remind the kids after that no it can not be sung in public. xD
- Jake's work formed a kickball team a few months ago...their first game is Wednesday. The team name is.... Scared Kickless
- We are planning a trip to Cedar City so Jake can wrestle in the Summer Games in two weeks. He is doing it just for fun, and I'm already preparing to laugh. :D He got his shoes and singlet today, and is booking the hotel tomorrow. The kids are looking forward to it too just for the trip and to watch Jake wrestle, haha! He's certainly in shape now, but of course hasn't wrestled in like 8 years so this will be interesting!
- Remember how I talked about doing the Summer Slim Down at work? Apparently one of the teams that has all guys on it has already lost 29 pounds! There's no way our team will catch them, but I'm still motivated for myself to keep losing weight. I'm so close to hitting 15 pounds lost since the start of the year. Can't wait to lose a bit more and get new clothes! ;)
And one funny thing Brady said on our trip that I honestly can't remember if I posted here or not. It started off with something my Grandpa said to me.
Grandpa: Well Kandi, you are the most even keeled person I know.
Me: *looks oddly at Grandpa*
Grandpa: You're just always pissed off all the time aren't you?! *Grandpa chuckle*
Me: *shocked and mouth gaping open* (because I wasn't pissed off ANY part of that trip!!!)
Brady: Yeah, my Mom annoys me and my Dad ALL the time!
Of course we all lost it and were dying laughing. Grandpa asked Brady if that was right, and Brady solemnly shook his head yes. Too funny!
