I'll post more about the Expo and life in general later, but I wanted to just update you all on my progress in the NCAA brackets...lol. Cause I know you are all just holding your breath in anticipation! :) But mainly because I just want to brag about how well I picked, why I picked some, and how bummed I am about some of the losses.
Thursday night I had picked 11 out of 12 games!!! The best thing ever was that I picked Marquette over Utah State. Jake looked at it after I did my bracket Wednesday night and asked why I'd picked that. He said everyone is predicting Utah State to win over Marquette (himself included), and it was going to be an upset game. (By upset game I mean that Utah State was ranked 11 and Marquette was ranked 6 so if Utah State won then it would be an upset.) So he tells me that Utah State has the best Defense and that Marquette has their star player hurt. I said I don't care, Marquette is going to win. And we are Univ of Utah (Ute) fans...not Utah State Aggie fans. So, I was totally elated when my pick turned out right!!! I never said it, but I think Jake knew I was secretly thinking, "Told Ya SO!!!" The one game I mispicked will totally suck though. I had Clemson going to the Sweet 16 and they got beat by Michigan in the first round...bugger.
So yesterday I talked to Jake around 1ish and he said at that in my bracket I had so far picked 18 out of 20! Unfortunately later that day U of U lost (booooo) so that screwed me too because they got beat in the first round and I had them going to the Sweet 16 as well. Right now I have picked 24 out of 32, but I don't know how many Jake has.
Anyways, just some geeking out over my Basketball bracket! :)
Now, off to finish cleaning the house. Jake has been steam cleaning and I've been doing general cleaning before the big scrub down of walls and baseboards tomorrow. Arg, I hate spring cleaning, but I like having it all done! :)
After the large cleaning stuff is done today I'll settle back into scrapping. I only did 6 pages yesterday!!! :(
