There isn't one. There are spirits, kami, which inhabit things. Some are good and some are evil. It's different than what you Westerners believe.

It doesn't matter that you are not religious. It's everywhere in the West, you're just too used to it to see. Not that I care. To me it doesn't matter either way.

And it is good that you be scared of Akuma. Their maker is trying to devise the destruction of mankind. The Order says that this also has to do with the Western God.

If you don't believe in the Western God, how do you deal with the Order's explanations?

Because it doesn't matter to me all the reasons people like to give one way or another. Akuma and the Earl are ruled by evil and must be destroyed. That is all I am interested in and all I need to know.
