Ryo got off the subway and followed the stream of people out through the exit. Arriving in a spray of fresh air, Ryo looked to both sides before heading in the way of the Kitamuras' house. The neighborhood surely wasn't the ghettos like the one he hailed from, but he knew the area well. All he needed was Rika's address and a general description of the area, and he was on his way, no worries

Rika tried not to roll her eyes, or blush, when Ryo checked her out. "Knock it off I don't look any different then normal." she said shyly. "I'm thirsty though so lets get going. Did you have any ideas? If not I know of a few places we can go if you'd be more comfortable with me picking the places." Rika had a bad habit of taking charge a lot.
"That all depends on what ya choose, lady," Ryo responded. "An' don't be gettin' upset that I didn't bring ya no flower caz that's outta my budget, sweetheart."
"That's alright I wasn't really expecting the flowers to begin with." Rika pointed out. "I wasn't planning anything to expensive I didn't really think you had a budget to begin with, no offense." Rika said with horror at the thought she might of hurt his feelings. "I don't like coffee all that much so lets go to a place that serves milkshakes."
"Damn. You is good at takin' control!" Ryo commented, biting down on his lower lip. "Alright, I'll go wit it. An' you is right, I don't have any money t' spare caz I is poor." He said this despite his expensive taste in clothes. Clothes (& accessories) had their own budget, which happened to be his primary choice over neccessities such as food. "Lets go then," he said wrapping his arm around her shoulder and stirring her in the right direction.
Rika was sort of surprised Ryo didn't take offense but agreed with her. She also didn't realize he was wearing a pair of sunglasses that costs more then a nintendo gamecube.
Arriving at the malt shop she was surprised to see it wasn't very busy. "I'm sorry to disappoint you but they don't wear maid outfits here." Rika then vaguely wondered it Ryo would like her work uniform but quickly shook it off. "They only have the butlers here." she teased.
"I was joking and no not gay dudes, the opposite of the maids in a maid cafe. I don't know why you would complain some of the butlers are girls dressed like men." she laughed holding the door for Ryo open before entering.
It was just a regular food place and the people working, both men and women, weren't really dressed up asides from a plain uniform.
"Thats fine. I don't mind going dutch." she stated before going up to the counter to place her order. "If you don't want a shake you can just order a soda."
Rika smacked Ryo on his arm before moving to a seat. Now she was stumped she had no clue what to talk about with Ryo. She doubted he would understand anything that had to do with some sort of knowledge at all.
Rika translated that as 'this was how be acted like a gentleman'. "Thanks Ryo, I never took you as the type to pull a chair out for a girl." she took the sit. "I always assumed you were the type that slammed doors shut in old lady's faces rather then hold them open."
Ryo took a seat opposite of her, making sure to pull it over so that it was closer to Rika than it was originally. "Well I'm not on a date wit the old lady, is I?"
