(no subject)
Well... not all that much is happening - again. I'm currently in between lectures [and have been for the past 4 hours or so] and I really should have done some work or something but I haven't [and now feel rather bad for that].
I have so far been into town [Bought the usual lunch stuff and two candles - don't ask about the candles. and went looking at all the
books in the shops that I could find. I have now decided that I have to get a copy of this book, which is about £15 in Smiths at the moment and a copy of Egyptology and Pirateology which are both half price in Waterstones! .. *Squeal* Been looking at Strange Fate which was supposed [apparently anyway] to have been published on the Second. .. Although surprisingly enough despite the fact that the Second is over two weeks ago [ish] the book still hasn't materialised... Funny that.
[reluctantly] I think I'm going to agree with the people who are saying that the book is never going to make publication. It looks very likely at the moment.
I've also decided that James [My brother] is going to get a book for Christmas. If he doesn't like it then I'll have it back. It's quite a cool book [It's called 'The Dangerous Book for
Boys' and has loads of little facts and information in it. It's the sort of thing that he might like - if I'm lucky.]
Richards threatening/trying to get me hooked on Naruto and I'm reluctant 'cause it's not really my type of thing, Plus I don't really want to get involved in another really long series. [32 volumes at current count!] And in case anyone cares: I'm still waiting for a copy of Haru wo Daiteita! Stupid thing. Apparently I have to wait 'til December sometime for it.. *sigh* I don't understand why the publisher refuses to ship international, Surely It'd be worth it!
Meh. Anyway.. I haven't written anything else since last post or /posted/ anything on fictionpress so there's still no more story [and surprisingly enough I have no reveiws for the bits I have posted!] but there we go - Maybe If I actually wrote up some of the bits with actual plot then I'd get somewhere. oh well.
On Dragon Fable I have now reached level 14 [Aren't you proud of me] and It's going to take 19,200 Exp points to hit Lv15. Which sucks.. That's so not good!... *Sigh* AQ is so much easier to play .. I mean it only takes me 19000 or so Exp to gain the next level in that game [lv56] and the Exp from each battle is around 300 or so, [sometimes as much as 700] where as battle exp from DF... well, you're lucky if you manage to get 100 - mostly you get about 90 and that's a high value! So you can see the problem.
Maybe I should play more AQ instead - but DF is just better.. *Sigh* oh well .. I guess I should just stop moaning and get on with it. I'll get to lv18 before I know it!]
Oh and I bought a 'Learn to Draw Manga' book the other day - I though it was about time I tried to learn some proper drawing techniques.. I likely wont draw anything for a while though.. Which annoying as I'd really like to have picture [decent!] pictures of all my characters... *Sigh* So far I have pictures of some of them [4/11 - which is pathetic] ... And the 4 I have most of them could do with some improvement. Haven't done anything more to my horse/wave picture either, I'm never going to get it finished! I should really try and do a little bit everyday. Oh and I think I might have officially 'moved' - or at least my parents have
moved and so taken my home address somewhere else... It makes me want to go home... - [back to where they are living now and away from Uni] because it's so nice there. Come on Christmas.. although I don't really fancy doing any exams.. x.X
And our shower broke! It's now scalding hot and it burns if you try and actually use it! ... x.X So not fun so everyone trying different ways to make it bearable... Hopefully it'll be fixed in a couple of days. x.X
