Afternoon tea
I went to my 1st afternoon tea party on Saturday. I made all my strawberry desserts and sent them packing with Elise earlier in the day. I got ready to go and around 2:30 we headed over to the party. The house was pretty easy to find. The street names are kinda small, so that didn't help much. I missed the first turn, but took another route to get to the house. Parked across the street and walked over to the house. We rang the doorbell, because we just don't walk into people's homes. *LOL* Someone opened the door and pretty much everyone was dressed up.
I've never been to a tea party before. We don't even really drink tea at home. Neither do we have fine china teapots and teacups. The only thing I think we do have is some nice china dinnerware. How sad is that? I'll admit I had a really lovely time. I drank 3 blends of tea and I like the chocolate one the best. The sandwiches and desserts were all really good. Now I need to find myself a nice china teacup and teapot, probably online, since I have no idea where they sell fine china in Hawaii. I'd probably want a nice Fine Bone China teaset and a Wii for Christmas. *LOL*
So another busy week finally over. I don't plan on really stressing out the rest of this week until Christmas. I still have to practicing singing, make Sweet Party Mix, and a few other things, but nothing I can't handle.
