i have someplace to go in the fall!
i haven't heard from UCLA yet...
but i got into San Jose State's MLIS program (via CSUF)
yay! i feel a lot better. i was worried that i wouldn't get into either school (my own paranoia, not because i thought i was unqualified). so even if i don't get into UCLA, i'll at least have someplace to go.
in some ways, SJSU would be better for me. it's online. it would be way less stressful in terms of the academic courseload and the commute.
in some ways, UCLA would be better for me. it would challenge me. i'd have more opportunity for human interaction and making friends. its a more prestigous school and program. but, for 33 weeks out of the school year, i will inevitably be a basket case nazi who wants to kill people and suddenly hates academia in addition to west los angeles and its in habitants.
we'll see what i decide once all the results are in...
