A Night To Remember...
Wow!!! is all I can say for right now. At the same time I wish I would have done just a little more, and the more i think about it, i'm kinda almost glad i didn't.
Well, let me start from the beginning. I was at work when low and behold, Stefanie, the girl that i've had a major crush on stops by to visit ME!! Now if the doesn't make my day i get the guts to ask her to go see a movie. She said she would see after i give her a call as soon as i got off work. Eller came to pick me up and we decidedto go to the arcade to get out an hour or so of frustration on DDR and Dance Freaks ( I love those games )
Anywho... I get back to my house around seven and i give stef a call. I ask her what movie she wanted to see and what time did it start. We found out that Austin Powers "Goldmember" was showing a sneak preview and we decided to go for it. I know mike is going to be mad, but how could i pass up an opportunity like this? so I tell her ok and that i needed to take a FAST shower (because i didn't smell so hot from playing games and also the movie started in like, a half hour)she said fine and that she would pick me up. I rushed like there was no tomorrow and got all ready just for her.
By now I'm thinking "hell yeah!!, Finally a date! but i shouldn't make a big deal out of it" so i played it cool. she picked me up and we were off to the movies. The movie was really funny and she had a great time.
As we left we saw some friends and she told me she was kinda hungry so we went to the only place that would be open this late at night... Denny's. As we sat there, stef was telling me how she wish she had more guy friends that would take her out like that, but at the same time she said she felt kinda bad for me paying. I told her it was no big deal and just smiled. we talked and laughed for the rest of the meal and left.
We pull in to my drive way and i'm thinking " ok, here is my big moment, here it comes, i'm going to do it!!" she finishes talking about how she needs to find a guy that would do these types of things for her. I just smile, i start to move in by stroking her hair and... I tell her thatnks for a good time. she smiles as i get out of the car. we each say good night and she pulls out and drives home.
I walk into my house and start to pound my head on the door. I could've kissed her, but then.... what would have happened? Would she have liked it? would she have gotten mad?
I don't know, but what i do know is that she did have a good time i saw it in her eyes, and her smile.
I guess it's good i didn't kiss her, why should i rush things? we're good friends and i'm cool with that for right now. IT'S ALL GOOD!!
Even though it's something small, I still think it's "A Night To Remember!"
