Advent Children: Part II
Well, I'm sure most of you have bootlegged this mofo, so what's the verdict with it's final, and way f***in' late release >_>
The good:
A nice lengthy Making Of featurette, with a massive amount of interviews and comments.
The short Venice Film Festive version
A gang of FFVII trailers... which most of us have probably already seen
Remiscence of FFVII... or better said... FFVII, the game, cut into 20 minutes or so lol
And deleted scenes.... most of which were seen all throughout the teaser trailers they had out in ages past... though they had a couple new ones, that coulda fit into the final cut pretty snugly actually
The Bad:
No Last Order... Boooooooo!!!! ::clears throat:: let me say that again... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
No really, I really wanted that to be in there... there's no damned reason for it not to just simply be in there for the sake of just being in there.
::sigh:: but I'll backtrack some here.... and get to the nitty gritty. That being... the English.
I found the translation here to be far superior to the fansub, and a lot more coherant at that... and many of the jokes carried over so much better to. Watchin' Vincent's plight, which I'll not comment any further on, was f***in' hilarious... and I'll also note, there was a nice nod to Mr. T ;)
So... yeah... the English was really frakken good dagnabbit. Anyone who complains someone's voice doesn't fit so-and-so is (dare I say it) Obviously looking for a reason not to like the english version over the JP
So, in the end all I can say is, if you get it, and already seen the JP version... stfu, and just enjoy it. It's good dganbbit!!! >=O
