Now it's not a blatant stab like past attacks against the videogame market have taken lately, but still, why even suggest it. All the goths I knew and hung out with in High School, at least in my eyes were just as normal as everyone else. Granted I did think quite a few of them had a bent towards inflicting pain on themselves... a small few actually admitted it, but that alwasy stuck out as a home issue, more than something they picked up from games or even culture.
I never saw them as attention whores, are even weird just 'cause they loved wearing more black than me, but that's kind off topic a bit.
The writer (don't remember his name) clearly has no frakkin clue what the hell he's even talking about. Or if it was the researchers that made that comment, then them, not him... either way, it's just more ignorance. Spouting off random sh** like that without any evidence to back it, is like trying to force feed a baby... you just don't do that stuff.
