Geraldine "Din-din" Palma was buried yesterday. To all those that sent their condolances and prayed for her passage to heaven, thank you very much. She is in a better place now where no one will harm her anymore, where people will love her and where she can watch over everyone. We only wish that whoever did this to her will be caught and will get the punishment he deserves.
Our families are more cautious now, especially Tintin, Kuya Andrew and Kuya Garito. I talked to my Uncle the other day (Din's uncle) and he said that we should be very careful as it looks like business was the motive. Paulinians, please be careful because although I highly doubt the kidnappers were after any random St. Paul's student, no one wants anymore casualties. Please keep safe.
Din was apparently strangled to death and abused. It's very disturbing to realize that this happened to a seven year old with a whole life ahead of her. I understand this is not the first time it happened, but this is the first time it has happened to my family. The reason is unknown; maybe a business deal gone bad. It makes me lose even more faith in humanity and a people that I have grown up loving, who I want to continue helping. It's a disheartening and sombering reality, but I think I would rather try and help save it than hide. I am but a young girl of seventeen, but Din's passing made me realize all the more that citizens have to do something to help rather than turning a blind eye or not doing anything about it.
May Din din rest in peace. ♥

On the upside.
Did nothing all weekend, watched Evan Almighty, listened to music, watched Heroes. My life is pretty boring. Evan Almighty taught me something though:
When God says do something, do it. Or you'll have chicken poop on your clothes and a beard you can't get rid of.
Saturday also marked ONE YEAR for Cosplaykada. Woot! Go CK. More power to you guys. ♥ Sorry for not joining you today. I am lazy, kay. And it was raining. See you Saturday, maybe. If I'm not lazy.
