My first dream of the new year was being home. It was a rather average day, rather boring in fact. It was one of those mundane sort of situations yet warm and comfortable.... Will I get a chance to go home this year? I hope this was a good sign.

I... don't remember what I had dreamed about in the new year.

[Though, the fact is that he does.

He just doesn't want to talk about how a pleasant dream of being able to commune with a murder of crows had taken a bad turn, when Muu had suddenly appeared and tried to eat one of them.]

Maybe nothing exciting will happen for you this year then.

It's hard to tell whether that is really such a good thing or not.

You could take it either way, though it's probably better to have no excitement that to have an unknown excitement promised.

"An unknown excitement promised"? Like an omen?

Then it would be better for me to have no excitement like that at all.

In either a dream or in reality.

Why are you still awake? kan_chyan January 14 2011, 06:59:20 UTC
Well, without any excitement at all, life would get boring wouldn't it? In small doses, even poison can be good for you.

Because of Umineko. That's why. onikui_haruka January 18 2011, 06:25:30 UTC
I'm not so sure how to feel about that example.
