I'm screwed ... but happy
I have this powerpoint project due. It won't copy onto my cd. I shall now commence to kill myself. Shall I pull a Sylvia Plath? Or a Lewis?
Decisions decisions...
I misjudged one of the teachers I have here. Earlier, I mentioned how my art history teacher, named Mrs. Hammond, was more a Dunlap than anything. But she's not! Her wayward wardrobe, fascination with the pink, and continuous uses of the word "like" were merely a guise to hide the genius that lies beneath! For she is an excellent teacher. Her class is one of my favorites and next term I'm going to be her aid. Once again, I will aid for a Hammond.
English was so much fun today! We all evaluated each others' practice college essays, and it was fun! The smartest guys in the class (which also happen to be the guys I'm most interested in) were given my paper. I actually had fun writing the paper, so it wasn't half bad. Well, they gave me a 5! (We were grading on a scale of 1 to 5) They also gave me some constructive criticism that was smart. I LOVE smart guys.
We had a sub in that class, and we, as a class, have decided to bring breakfast next wednesday to class. We're going to make homemade waffles, eggs, bacon, orange juice, chocolate milk, strawberries, and whatnot DURING class (We're going all out). We're just going to show up in the morning, hook up the waffle & portable skillet thingy, and start cooking. And when Mrs. Simmons comes in and asks what the heck is going on, we're going to look at her innocently and say "cooking breakfast, duh!" Haha She's cool, so she'll probably just laugh.
Looking forward to next Wednesday!
This Thursday some friends and I are going to watch a scary movie and then go to a haunted house! Haunted houses are so big around here! They're everywhere and some are REALLY expensive. But the one we're going to isn't too bad. *whew*
