i never realized our freedom was in question. unless you mean the basic freedoms in which we were all guaranteed under the constitution... some of which have been threatened, and or taken away by our very own government. freedom of speech! sure! as long as it doesn't go against the moral majority's ideals. some people say we can't leave because those who have died, will have died in vain. but how many more soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen must die? what did these same people say during vietnam, when over fifty-eight thousand had died, and we were basically being chased the fuck out of saigon? we left nam. they chased us out of there!
eventually we have to stop. but what's the new number?
10,000 dead? 20,000 dead? how about 70,000? when will we stop?
in a way we're fucked either way.
we went in to iraq, and everyone thought we were assholes. now if we leave, and it crumbles into civil war, or is swallowed up by terrorist states... or whatever. we're assholes.

the ultimate catch 22. the biggest pickle. do we try to run to third and hope we can get home? or do we go back to second? lets just hope we don't get tagged out.
