Vermont

most of this entry will in fact have little to do with the beautiful state of Vermont, but whatever.

UPDATE: just wanted to confirm, that i am not going crazy, nor have i gone crazy. apparently some people thought i was preparing to drive my kia up and over into the rim of a volcano, ohio has thirty three you should know, but do not worry. if i were to kill myself, which those of you who know me well enough know that i think suicide is ridiculous... if i were to kill myself, i would use one of the many variations displayed in the great film Harold & Maude. as the after school special in my head says "Suicide is Fo' Suckers!"

BUM LEG: so i got over my back injury, which turned out to not be much of an injury at all, and now have a real injury to deal with. my right leg. well, my right calf to be exact. as an attempt to no longer be a disgusting fat body, i've been taking part in a walk to run program. self explanatory... walk forever, jog, and eventually run. the other day i finished a one mile walk, proceeded to stretch, and then jogged one mile. i didn't do bad, in fact i enjoyed it. afterward i felt fine, i assumed that my feeling good was due to the stretching i did before jogging. fast forward. two days later, my calf feels terrible. it's like locked up or something. it hurts to walk on it, i'm having muscle spasms which feel like someone is taking an ink needle and stabbing me with it... god damn it. i was feeling so good, and looking forward to jogging again. now i must go to a doctor. i have an appointment tomorrow at 1300.

VERMONT: it just hit me how much i miss the beautiful green mountains. the Kamuda's General Store, which still uses the tab system. the farm across the street from Kamuda's and the post office, where my uncle worked as a kid, and if i hadn't been a construction worker i would have never known.... but the same farm has a peach tree to the side of the house, that produces some of the biggest, sweetest, most beautiful peaches i've ever had. i don't even like peaches that much. brian's cook out. lake dunmore and the "K" squirrel. Keith's and chester fried chicken. the little town with 3,000 people. even though you don't know who anyone is, somehow they know who you are, and your life story. i miss vermont. i miss Pittsford, the Eugair capital.
