[She had been in the living room at the time. She hadn't even heard Kenshin get up. But he had and he was talking about things that sounded so painful.

She just knew she couldn't let him go through this, this curse alone.

Making her way to his bedroom she forced a scowl on her face. It wasn't very convincing though, one could almost always see right through her if they looked into her eyes. She'd always been a very honest girl after all.]

Himura Kenshin, what do you think you're doing?

[Has a fairly sheepish look on his face, sitting up on the futon with the computer off to the side.]

[He didn't really speak to a lot of people over the thing often, but that didn't mean he didn't keep an eye on it.]

[She stalked over to his futon and sat down, roughly checking for a fever. He seemed to be better then the days before, but she wasn't Megumi, she couldn't be positive.]

[The tone of worry was still underlying. People in their time still died of this sort of thing. Any illness was still a very serious matter.

She was also worried about what was going to come out of his mouth. How much saying the things from his past would hurt him.]

He came close to dying when facing Shishio Makoto in Kyoto that he is amazed he is still sitting here. [He stroked a strand of her hair briefly.] It was the thought of your voice that made him stand back up...
