of the books I bought from Borders, this is not one of them.
The Quantum Thief, by Hannu Rajaniemi
Took me... several days to read it, with the first hundred pages going by very slowly. The last two hundred was relatively fast -- normal speed. Picked it up on a whim (hard for me to find a book I actually want to have fun puzzling out) and even though between my sleep schedule and the psychedelic world that the book sets, I may not know what time is, but I don't think I regret it.
Not sure who else has read it, but I suggest picking up a copy and trying it out. Mostly because I have no idea what other people would take to it as.
It was strangely... easy for me to read, and reminded me of some of my dreams. It still does, even after. Because I don't understand it, like those dreams within dreams... and dream loops?
[And omg I post. And I am sleep schedule deprived.]
