Pokémon Drabble
Okay! My first drabble post on here! I hope that any of you who reads this like it! Please comment if you want, though I'd appreciate it if you left it to kind reviews, or suggestions...
Title: Negotiations
Rating: K
Summary: (Pokémon) Shinji and Hikari try to get some peace and quiet time.
“In the beginning, there was chocolate-”
Hikari's eye twitched and slammed her pen down, glaring over at the sleek, black grand piano where her husband and two-year-old daughter were sitting. “Anata,” she said in a painfully sweet voice. “Will you please stop playing Fuyuki's Chocolate Song? I can't concentrate!”
Shinji looked up and smirked. “Naze?” he replied. “Fuyuki seems to enjoy it.”
“Hehe, Yu-chan likes!” the little girl chirped, her blue eyes glittering with mirth. “Tou-chan play more!”
Sighing, Hikari gave her daughter a bright smile and sauntered over to the piano. “Anata,” she whined playfully, embracing him from behind. “I need to work on my story! Kasumi-san expects a completed rough draft by tomorrow! Onegai? I promise to make it up to you tonight...”
Shinji's fingers curled even more over the keys as he glanced up at his wife. “Honto?” he replied, cocking an eyebrow. “Hmm, I'm not sure if I can beat that deal. How about you, Fuyuki?”
Fuyuki giggled and hugged her father as well. “Tou-chan! Yu-chan wants more music! Yu-chan likes tou-chan's music!”
“Fuyuki,” Hikari cajoled. “If you let tou-chan and kaa-chan concentrate, kaa-chan will tell you a story tonight!”
“Demo! Kaa-chan always tell Yu-chan stories every night!” Fuyuki argued, pouting cutely.
Shinji chuckled and patted her soft, violet hair in response. “How about this instead: tou-chan will compose for you your own song, and kaa-chan will write you your own story?” he said firmly.
Fuyuki nodded her head vigorously in agreement. “Hai!” she chirped. “Yu-chan will go take napie-nap now! Oyasumi-nasai, tou-chan, kaa-chan!”
Hikari watched her daughter skip off to bed before she leaned over and gave her husband a quick peck on the lips. “Now,” she murmured huskily. “I'm going to work on my story, and then we can have the rest of the day to ourselves.”
“Considering that Fuyuki doesn't interrupt us...”
“Mm. I'm sure Haruka-chan won't mind taking care of her for a few hours...”
“Mm...” Shinji pulled Hikari down for another, longer kiss. “You should hurry up then,” he murmured between kisses.
“Hai, hai,” Hikari giggled, breaking away. “But I need complete silence, anata!”
