Started cleaning out that "new" grill yesterday morning and taking note of the condition. It's a pretty simple grill, probably ~$150 model.
The body and gas knobs seem to be fine, but rust has completely taken the warming shelf. I poked it with a minimum amount of pressure and the bars fell off as rust. Rust has also started to take the main grill matrix, but I agressively scrubbed it and while it's still a bit rusty it is in useable condition. I will probably just cover it with tinfoil while I use it until I can get hold of a replacement (~$17).
The double gas burner will definitely need to be replaced before it's useable. It is also completely rusted and while one side of it looks intact enough to attempt to use, the other side has some of its vents dropped in and broken from rust damage. Amazon has a replacement for $16 and it was super easy to remove, so I should have that bit up and running as soon as I want.
That was pretty much it. I am probably not going to replace the warming tray as I hardly use them anyway. It will just be permanently removed.
I'm not going to complain about
