Finally some progress - Aquaponics
I should get pictures but the shelves I designed to hold my aquaponics garden are finally coming together. At least the first tier are; my hope is that I can speed up the process now that it's come together once. I wasted a lot of time thinking about how I wanted things to come together, and more time switching between tools muyes, multiple times between steps. Next time around I think I will stay on the same tool and do multiple pieces at once; this slightly increases my chances of making an error but should greatly increase productivity. But yes, pictures should be forthcoming.
If anyone has suggestions for a decent looking stain (my wood is pretty white, I believe it's fir IIRC) which is also moisture resistant leave a suggestion! This is going to be subject to heavy humidity between the garden and the fishtank. I'm going to start doing my own Google research on a stain shortly.
