Hello World.
Crazy past few days. Went to WM so Scott could pick up some car parts in Hartford. We left yesterday at 6:00 AM (after not sleeping until 3 AM. Ouch.) and drove 2 1/2 hours to Amherst NH so we could go to a car show in the rain for 15 minutes. Then another hour to his house. Aaugh. Felt like I got hit by a truck yesterday. Slept most of the afternoon, then most of the night.
This morning I tried to get Scott and I on the list for the tour of Danvers. They weren't having the tour when they usually do. So Scott called after me to verify, and next time we're driving to their headquarters to get our names on the list. Come hell or high water, I'm going to see those buildings up close! Trying to get them on the phone is like trying to win tickets off of a radio DJ. I have to go to the MFA this morning (ugh) to take some pictures of things before art history class. So I should be leaving at about 10:30 this morning, and getting back at about 6:30 pm. Go me. I hate trying to jump around Boston in a car, it's nigh impossible. Art History is going well. There's a pair of guys in that class that are incredibly nice. I'm bringing the chipaople in today, because I told the story. That's right - Chipalope.
I've gone on a book buying spree, lately. Occult books, of course. Woot? Right now deciding if I want to buy a copy of Le Dragon Rouge in English. Meh. Life is being, well, lifelike for now. The next few weeks are going to be hectic as I finish up my summer class, and I finish up my drafting. Hopefully I'll be moving into my new apartment (whee) on the 23rd of August.
Otherwise, the weekend was fun. I hung out with Abdow and Steve Fox. It was so nice to chill out with some good friends.
