The area we stopped at for the night only has one good thing going for it: picturesque. Other than that, it's boring and I'm not nearly as warm as I would prefer to be. Why couldn't Sanada be on this quest?

On the plus side, only two monsters. That wasn't even a warm-up.

There should be an asterisk next to "legendary healing properties". It probably means for mortals only.

But sure. I guess it couldn't hurt. Grab Hirakoba too. He'll like the water.

You never knows until you try. If nothing else, it will suitably warm you up. I would never hear the end of it if you returned frozen or with a cold.

He's likely already there. Or swimming in the river...

I'm sure he would be. But it's best if we stay together during the nights in case any monsters catch wind of us.

It's a quest, Tezuka, but you can be rational. I'll be the spontaneous one who rejects all the logic and rationale.

Which is why it's kind of ridiculous that there are three people on this quest.

Shiraishi gave me some poison. I think coating the blade with it might be useful. It's worked so far putting it on the vines.

Perhaps there's a water element portion where his unique skills will be needed.

That could come in handy. I'll select a couple blades to coat later.

A shiny blue hair thing for Niou, a bangasa for me, a cup for Shiraishi, and something for Sanada. I'll know it when I see it.
