My sister had me take this quiz as soon as I walked through the door. I am a DEP (Dandelion, Echinacea, Peppermint) - tough, protective, and unflappable. I think that’s pretty spot on. My sister is a CDS (Chamomile, Dandelion, Slippery Elm) - easy-going, tough, talkative. If you know my sister, this is definitely true and she wouldn’t be my sister ( Read more... )

The equation for the quiz is off. I got Chamomile, Fennel, and Peppermint. Easy going and well-liked, shy and kind, and unflappable.

Power-braces, hm...

(ooc: if it's not okay that he hacked the private, let me know and I'll re-comment)

I don't see anything wrong with that. Sounds rather accurate now, don't you think? Maybe it would have been different when you first arrived here.

Unless you'd like to upgrade my wheelchair, yes, power braces. Though, I don't know how well they'd work in theory since I'd want them to act like my actual legs and considering the lack of feeling... Well, I imagine you're already thinking about it.

Not really. I'm not easy-going or shy. Kindness is a coin toss.

Upgrading your wheelchair would be simple. Could do that too. I'm not sure that I could make it feel like your legs, but I could definitely make it feel like an extension of your power. The way you'd control a vine.

I think you're a very kind and shy boy.

Have at it. I can pull it out and you can have it until I need it. Hmm, interesting.

Shy implies timid. More like reserved with a chance of kindness. Like cloudy with a chance of rain.

I'll work on the wheelchair while I draft the design and theory for power braces. Of course, I could make them completely mechanical. It wouldn't drain you, but you wouldn't feel connected. You can think about it.

That sounds like a weather report.

Come by and get it whenever you want. I'll make sure it's charged. I'd prefer not to be drained. Winter does enough of that.

I'm a man of much weather.

Understood. I'll think about it while I trick out your wheelchair and present you with some design options. Probably next week.

Also, it won't be a fun task, but I'll need you to write down as much information as you have on your condition and the effects. Though I have a good idea, I'd like to know what I can to build a custom model.

What's the forecast today, Meteorologist-san?

There's no rush.

I'll email you all my medical files and what I've written down. So, almost 7 years worth of data. Have fun.

Grumpy.

I just finished an interesting project. It's like finishing a good book. If I don't start on the next, I'll continue to think about it and make myself crazy.

I will.

Sounds like a cup of tea, blanket, sketchbook, and curl up in a corner kind of day.

It's charging. You can come by now and get it, but it won't be operational to get you all the way back to the Athena cabin.

Exactly. I don't intend to leave the library today.

Tomorrow is fine. I'll read through your files today and reflect on the braces. Any particular defenses you want your wheelchair to have?

Enjoy.

Speed, ability to move/maneuver over any terrain, anti-rust, tires that can't be punctured, still useful even if the battery dies.

Do you have sentimental attachment to that particular chair? It might be easiest to totally rebuild.

None. I dislike having to use it in the first place.

I'll still take it for reference. But I'll end up building a new one probably.

Keep the old one for your other projects.
