Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I am heading home in about an hour, along with Erin and Christine, and I shall see if Shirley is there or not. As for right now I am taking a two hour sub shift at Canaday, after which I will be packing and then heading out. It's a bit weird to be here working at the moment, since most of the campus is gone, however, I've been doing pretty well today. I have a bit of a sniffle but other than that I'm just sleepy. Erin brought over the laptop I took out so I could exchange it for a different one, and now I'm ready to thesis.
Of course, the first person I helped when I got into work today was Sarah, who I haven't seen in about a month, despite the fact that we live about a thousand feet away from each other. (less than that probably) It's weird: we spent so long trying to be friends after everything went down and it just didn't work. Now we can be polite and have conversation, but it's not lik we hang out, or ever talk for more than five minutes. It's so odd. She used to be my best friend and it just fell apart. It's not so much that I'm sad about it anymore as that it just seems ironic somehow...
Much the same way, I've barely spoken to Ben in years. I think I've talked to him twice, maybe three times since we broke up... and last time he was still trying to convince me that he hadn't dropped out of rutgers.
What's the point of this? I don't want it to happen again. I don't want the same thing to happen with Klaudia. I hope that soon, we'll both be in a place where we can talk normally, as friends. I would be so sad if we couldn't.
Meantime, it's almost time to go, and I still don't know one way or another from my brother or Shirley. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait and see. The fact that Joe hasn't been at hims computer probably means he was walking to swat to pick up Shirley. Otherwise he'd be online because he lives there.
Sooo sleepy :) I hope I don't crash into anything on the way home...
